Quick Apply Full-time 10 hours ago Full Job Description Job Function The Heat-Treating Operator is responsible for confirming the quality of parts produced by iwis-Daido Heat Treat Process and the Polishing Machines.
This is done by performing inspections and hourly quality checks as defined by the iwis-Daido Quality Management System and Stamping Supervisor.
The goal is total customer satisfaction and continual improvement of our processes.
This position will require but not limited to the responsibilities listed below.
Required Qualifications Education Required:
High School diploma / GED 3 years of relevant work experience Skills Attendance must be in good standing Good written and verbal communication skills Some computer skills (i.
e.
excel) Can work without direct supervision Ability to manage time Ability to complete all assigned tasks daily, be flexible, and multi-task without losing focus Must have a strong team attitude and work well cross-functionally with all departments Strong math skills Problem solving skills Ability to work in a non-climate controlled environment.
Ability to climb ladders without the fear of heights Task description Adhere to the Companies policies and procedures Perform audits of incoming material (i.
e.
visual) Startup checks on machines including safety checks.
Perform daily / hourly quality checks on production parts Notifying production team members if non-conforming materials are found Help with communicating quality concerns to other team members Daily 5S requirements.
Other duties as required by the position Must be able to perform overtime with very little notice Job Type:
