Spring Creek Rehab - Job SummaryThe Dietitian is responsible for creating nutrition plans to improve the health and physical conditions of residents, tracking intake and progress, as well as educating patients on how to maintain a balanced diet.
Essential Functions Come up with meal/nutrition plans for residents Track, document and monitor progress from aides and management as a daily routine.
Conduct research and stay informed on the latest nutrition and food health updates.
Keep track of what has/hasn't worked for a patient Ensure cleanliness of a workspace and proper use of utensils during food preparation Find solutions to the patient's problems and effectively communicate and structure a nutritional plan according to the needs of the patient Lead critical projects to design new patient diets and delivery methods Ensure patients understand their care Demonstrate analytical skills when assessing patient nutrition Develop solutions for any challenges that malnourishment poses Develops and revises a nutrition care plan based on information from the patient, medical record, family and health care team.
Qualifications Bachelor of Science Degree, or higher, with major in food and malnutrition required.
Current registration with the Commission on Dietetic Registration (CDR) Licensed Dietitian in Kentucky required At least two (2) years of work experience as a Dietitian preferred Long-term care or hospital geriatric experience preferredAbout the Company:
