Responsibilities: Design, edit and layout media guides for various sports. Responsible for management of the MSU Athletics web site, including content and configuration of the site. Assist in all media relations efforts during athletic events, including stat keeping. Write and/or edit media relations materials such as press releases, media guides, player/coach information, and other documentation. Perform miscellaneous job related duties as assigned. Will be responsible for handling all media relations duties for women's volleyball, women's basketball, women's tennis, men's tennis, women's track & field. Qualifications: A Bachelor's degree is required. Master's degree preferred. At least one year of experience in a college media relations program with experience directly related to the duties and responsibilities as specified. Strong knowledge of desktop publishing applications, specifically Adobe In-Design and Adobe Photoshop. Strong web management skills. Strong interpersonal and communication skills. Ability to work effectively with a wide range of constituencies in a diverse community. Ability to communicate effectively, both orally and in writing.

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
